- I found the Dummy Guide to Iomega Zip Drive off the Amiga page, and did
- everything the guide says to get my Amiga 1200 (with a Squirrel SCSI
- interface) to recognize a PC Zip Disk. I put ZIPPC in the Devs: Dos
- drivers drawer. I started my 1200. I double clicked on the ZIPPC icon.
- The computer told me "error: The device ZIPPC: is already mounted." I
- thought, "Good. The driver works." However, the PC Zip disk didn't
- appear on my screen. I didn't panic. I simply opened a shell window, and
- typed "Diskchange ZIPPC:" as the guide told me. Nothing happened. I
- typed it in a few more times, as the guide said I might have to.
- Nothing. What am I doing wrong?
-
- I have formatted several Zip disks as Amiga disks, but I really need to
- have my 1200 recognize a PC disk. CrossDOS works fine with DF0: but not
- with the Zip drive.
